61% Say Tax Hikes Hurt Economy
Forty-six percent (46%) of Americans say that filling out their income tax paperwork is worse than going to the dentist. A Rasmussen Reports national opinion survey found that 42% take the opposite view and say that going to the dentist is the more painful experience. The survey of 1,000 adults also found that 61% of Americans believe tax increases are bad for the economy. Just 19% believe they help.
