1* Some people believe that the goal of immigration policy
should be to keep out national security threats, criminals, and those who would
come here to live off our welfare system. Beyond that, all immigrants would be
welcome. Do you agree or disagree with that goal for immigration policy?
2* How important is it to improve border enforcement and reduce
illegal immigration?
3* How important is it to legalize the status of illegal
immigrants already in this country?
4* A proposal has been made to provide a path to U.S.
citizenship for illegal immigrants already in this country. The proposal also would penalize employers
for hiring illegal immigrants and take other steps to secure the nation’s
borders. Do you favor or oppose this proposal?
5* If the proposal becomes law, how
likely is it that the federal government will make a serious effort to secure
the borders and reduce illegal immigration?
