Senate Balance of Power - September 8, 2006
The Tennessee Senate race is getting closer and Rasmussen Reports now classifies the Corker-Ford race as a “Toss-Up.” Previously, it had been rated “Leans Republican.” This reduces the number of states in the Republican or Leans Republican categories to 49. Forty-five (45) Senate seats are favored to remain in Democratic hands while 6 are now in the Toss-Up category.
This is the seventh change in our Senate Balance of Power summary and all seven have pointed to a tighter race in October.
