‘Lock Him Up’? Most Doubt Trump Will Be Sentenced to Prison

Donald Trump is still scheduled for sentencing next month in New York City, but most voters don’t think Judge Juan Marchan will send the former president to prison.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 40% of Likely U.S. Voters believe it is likely the judge will sentence Trump to prison, including 22% who consider it Very Likely. However, 45% don’t think it is likely Judge Merchan will sentence Trump to prison, including 15% who see it as Not At All Likely. Another 16% are not sure.
