Harris Can’t Separate Herself From Biden’s Record
While Kamala Harris is now disavowing some of President Joe Biden’s unpopular policies, most voters say the vice president shares the blame for his failures – and shares credit for Biden’s successes.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 32% of Likely U.S. Voters say Harris deserves a lot of blame for the failure of Biden’s policies, while 23% see her as deserving some of the blame. Twenty-five percent (25%) think Harris doesn’t deserve much of the blame for Biden’s failures, and 15% believe she deserves none at all. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The survey of 1,134 U.S. Likely Voters was conducted on August 28-29 and September 1, 2024 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC
