48% Rate Kamala Harris ‘Poor’ on Border Policy
President Joe Biden put Vice President Kamala Harris in charge of efforts to control migration at the southern border, and most voters don’t think she’s done a good job of it.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 62% of Likely U.S. Voters consider the current situation with migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border to be a crisis. Twenty-six percent (26%) don’t see it as a crisis, while 12% are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The survey of 1,089 U.S. Likely Voters was conducted on July 24-25 and 28, 2024 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research.
