1* CVS/Caremark, a major
national drugstore chain, has announced that it will no longer sell tobacco
products. Are you more likely or less likely to shop at a CVS drugstore because
of this decision, or will it have no impact on your buying decisions?
2* How likely is it that other
major retail chains will follow CVS’ example and stop selling tobacco products
over the next five years?
3* In much of Canada,
drugstores are not allowed to sell cigarettes. Should the government ban the
sale of cigarettes in drug stores in the United States or should that decision
be left up to the owners of those drugstores?
4* Which of the following best describes
your cigarette smoking history? Do you currently smoke cigarettes, don’t smoke
now but you used to smoke, or have never smoked cigarettes?
