The U.S. government is imposing a 25% tariff on steel imports and a 10% tariff
on aluminum imports to make U.S. manufactured steel and aluminum more
economically competitive. Critics say these tariffs will drive up prices and
could provoke an international trade war. Overall, will these new tariffs
on imported steel and aluminum be good or bad for the U.S. economy?
Or will it have no impact?
