1* How do you rate the
performance of the U.S. Postal Service -- excellent, good, fair or poor?
2* Is
postal service in the United States better or worse than most countries in the
world?
3* Congress currently has
oversight power over the Postal Service and can veto any cost-saving measures
that it proposes. Do you favor or oppose allowing the Postal Service to make
budget decisions without congressional approval?
4* The Postal Service has
proposed ending Saturday delivery to reduce operating losses. Do you favor or
oppose cutting mail service to five days a week to help the Postal Service
become more financially solvent?
5* Under current law, it is
illegal for any private company to offer first class mail service and compete
with the U.S. Postal Service. Should private companies be allowed to deliver
first class mail?
6* Should the U.S. government consider selling the Postal Service to a
private company like UPS or Federal Express?
