President Gets No Bounce from Improving Economy
A number of economic indicators suggest the economy is improving, but voters aren't giving President Obama any additional credit for that improvement.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 39% of Likely U.S. Voters give the president good or excellent ratings for his handling of economic issues, little changed in regular surveys since November 2010. Slightly more voters (41%) still think the president is doing a poor job in this area. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted on December 21-22, 2014 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.
