What They Told Us: Reviewing Last Week’s Key Polls - Week Ending November 2, 2024

In surveys last week, this is what America told Rasmussen Reports:

- President Biden ended the polling week with a daily job approval of 44%.

- Former President Donald Trump has a three-point lead over Vice President Kamala Harris in our final national poll of the 2024 presidential election.

- In the closing days of the 2024 presidential campaign, President Donald Trump has a three-point lead over Vice President Kamala Harris in the battleground state of Wisconsin

- The president earned a monthly job approval of 44% in October, unchanged from September.

- Four days before Election Day, former President Donald Trump leads Vice President Kamala Harris in the crucial battleground states of Pennsylvania, Nevada and North Carolina.

- Nearly half of voters suspect election officials of involvement in cheating, and think such acts deserve criminal punishment.

- Americans are now slightly more optimistic about the state of race relations in the country, but many still see a dire picture.

Voters overwhelmingly think this year’s presidential election is important, and most will be angry if their candidate doesn’t win.

Vice President Kamala Harris has a three-point lead over former President Donald Trump in Minnesota, but the presidential contest is nearly tied in New Hampshire.

- More than three months after she was appointed to be the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris remains “underwater” in her favorability ratings.

- More than half of Americans have decorated their home for Halloween this year, and nearly a third of grown-ups will don costumes for Thursday’s spooky holiday.

- Transgender athletes in women’s sports? Men using women’s restrooms? Taxpayer-funded transgender treatment? American voters are against all of it – and not by a narrow margin.

- The presidential race is unusually close in Virginia, while Texas Sen. Ted Cruz leads in his bid for a third term.

- Thirty-five percent (35%) of Likely U.S. Voters think the country is heading in the right direction.
