Rasmussen Employment Index Slips in January

The Rasmussen Employment Index which measures worker confidence slipped a point in January following two months in a row of six-year highs.

At 103.3, worker confidence is down from December’s 104.2. The index fell to a recent low of 81.2 in October 2013 but gained steadily after that. After the Wall Street meltdown in the fall of 2008, the index fell dramatically, hitting an all-time low of 57.8 in July 2009.

Rasmussen Employment Index Closes 2014 On Another High

The Rasmussen Employment Index which measures worker confidence continues to climb, hitting a six-year high for the second month in a row in December.

At 104.2, worker confidence is up two points from the previous high of 102.4 in November. The index fell to a recent low of 81.2 in October 2013 but gained steadily after that. After the Wall Street meltdown in the fall of 2008, the index fell dramatically, hitting an all-time low of 57.8 in July 2009.

The Rasmussen Employment Index which measures worker confidence reached a six-year high in November.

At 102.4, worker confidence is up three points from 99.4 in October and up one point from the previous high of 101.2 in August. The index fell to a recent low of 81.2 in October 2013 but gained steadily after that. After the Wall Street meltdown in the fall of 2008, the index fell dramatically, hitting an all-time low of 57.8 in July 2009.

Rasmussen Employment Index Down a Point in October

The Rasmussen Employment Index, which measures worker confidence, fell slightly for the second straight month in October.

At 99.4, worker confidence is down one point from 100.3 last month, and well below August’s six-year high. The index fell to a recent low of 81.2 last October but gained steadily after that.

Generally speaking, a decrease in the Rasmussen Employment Index suggests the upcoming government report on job creation will be weaker than the prior month’s reports.

The Rasmussen Employment Index which measures worker confidence fell slightly in September after reaching an all-time high in August.

At 100.3, worker confidence is down one point from 101.2 last month, the highest finding in six years of regular tracking. The index fell to a recent low of 81.2 last October but gained steadily after that. It stood at 82 in September of last year.

Rasmussen Employment Index Reaches New High in August

The Rasmussen Employment Index which measures worker confidence reached a new all-time high in August after falling for two months in a row.

At 101.2, worker confidence is up nearly three points from July’s 98.4 and marks the highest finding in six years of regular tracking. The index reached its previous high in May at 100.1. The index fell to a recent low of 81.2 last October but gained steadily after that. It stood at 86.5 in August of last year.

Generally speaking, an increase in the Rasmussen Employment Index suggests the upcoming government report on job creation will be stronger than the prior month’s reports.

39% of Consumers, 57% of Investors Rate Personal Finances Postively

The Rasmussen Consumer Index, which measures consumer confidence on a daily basis, dipped less than a point on Monday to 109. Consumer confidence is still up six points from a week ago, one point from a month ago and five points from three months ago.

The Rasmussen Investor Index held relatively steady on Monday at 129.1, just shy of the 2014 high. Investor confidence is up seven points from a week ago, five points from a month ago and eight points from three months ago.

The Rasmussen Employment Index which measures worker confidence slipped a point in June after reaching its highest level in almost six years.

At 99.1, worker confidence is down from May’s finding of 100.1. In March, the index had hit a previous six-year high of 96.2. The index fell to a recent low of 81.2 in October but gained steadily after that. It stood at 93.0 in June of last year.

At 100.1, worker confidence is up from last month’s finding of 95.6. In March, the index had hit a previous six-year high of 96.2. The index fell to a recent low of 81.2 in October but gained steadily after that. It stood at 94.4 in May of last year.

The Rasmussen Employment Index which measures worker confidence dipped less than a point in April, coming off a six-year high.

At 95.6, worker confidence is down just slightly from the high of 96.2 reached in March. The index hit a low for 2013 of 81.2 in October but gained ground steadily after that. It stood at 90.7 a year ago.

The Rasmussen Employment Index which measures worker confidence jumped four points in March to its highest level in over six years of monthly tracking.

At 96.2, worker confidence is two points above the previous all-time high reached in May of last year. The index hit a low for 2013 of 81.2 in October but has been gaining ground steadily since then. It stood at 84.3 in March a year ago.

Rasmussen Employment Index Hits Highest Level Since June

The Rasmussen Employment Index which measures worker confidence rose four points in December continuing the upward trend it began in November.

At 89.8, worker confidence is at its highest level since June but is still down five points from the all-time high of 94.4 in May of last year. The index hit a low for 2013 of 81.2 in October. It stood at 91.2 in December 2012.

Generally speaking, an increase in the Rasmussen Employment Index suggests the upcoming government report on job creation will be stronger than the prior month’s report.

Rasmussen Employment Index Falls to Further Low

The Rasmussen Employment Index which measures worker confidence fell another point in October to a new low for the year. 

At 81.2, worker confidence is down one point from September and down 13 points from this year’s high of 94.4 in May.  This is the lowest level of confidence measured since last November but still up slightly from 79.9 this time last year.

Rasmussen Employment Index Falls to 2013 Low

The Rasmussen Employment Index which measures worker confidence fell four points in September to the lowest level this year.

At 82.0, worker confidence is down 12 points from this year’s high of 94.4 in May and is at the lowest level measured since last November.  Still, the latest finding is up from 76.6 found this time last year.

Rasmussen Employment Index Rebounds in August

The Rasmussen Employment Index which measures worker confidence rose more than three points in August and more closely matches the level measured at the start of the year.

At 86.5, worker confidence is up from July’s 2013 low of 83.1. Worker confidence is down just over half a point from the beginning of the year but is still up nearly 15 points from a year ago. The Employment Index reached a near six-year high of 94.4 in May. However, the Index is down 13 points from August 2007.

The Rasmussen Employment Index which measures worker confidence dropped 10 points in July to its lowest level since last November.

At 83.1, worker confidence is down four points from the beginning of the year but is still up three points from a year ago. The Employment Index reached a near six-year high of 94.4 in May. The Index is down 24 points from June 2007.

Rasmussen Employment Index Reaches Highest Level Since 2007

The Rasmussen Employment Index, which measures worker confidence, rose almost four points in May to the highest level measured since October 2007. 

At 94.4, worker confidence is up seven points from January and is up six points from a year ago. These results mark just the third time the Employment Index topped 90-point level since January 2008. 

Generally speaking, an increase in the Rasmussen Employment Index suggests the upcoming government report on job creation will be stronger than the prior month’s report. While the improvement is encouraging, there’s still a long way to go. The Employment Index is still down 12 points from May 2007.

Rasmussen Employment Index Hits 2013 High

The Rasmussen Employment Index which measures worker confidence rose six points in April to 90.7, the highest level of the year.

Worker confidence is up a full 10 points from April 2012 and is up 16 points from April 2011. In December of last year, the Index hit a five-year high of 91.2, but it had steadily fallen the first three months of this year. December marked the last time the Employment Index reached the 90-point mark.

The Rasmussen Employment Index, which measures worker confidence, slipped another point in March to 84.3.

Still, the Employment Index remains above levels measured for most of 2012. Worker confidence is up less than a point from March 2012 but is up 15 points from March 2011. In December of last year, the Index hit a five-year high of 91.2.
